Problem
High-resolution images require significant storage and bandwidth. Compression needs to reduce file size while maintaining acceptable visual quality.
Solution
Implemented the complete compression pipeline: block processing, forward DCT, quantization, frequency reduction, inverse DCT, and image reconstruction.
